Still thinking about the Irish woman in Dublin who waited to speak to the barista after receiving and tasting her coffee and I thought for sure she was going to tell her the coffee was wrong/bad but instead she said in her delightful lilt, “Excuse me – I just wanted to let you know that this coffee is lovely. It is the perfect temperature!” And how I stood there in American consumer shock trying to think if I’ve ever seen anyone do this in my country (spoiler alert: no.)
